The March 2026 schedule is online!

Hi everybody

I've been working hard on this new version (7) of our signup system and it is online now after a few technical setbacks.

I have been able to implement the following due to popular demand:

- you can now sign up for multiple courses at the same time

- if you provide us with the email address and telephone number of your dance partner then we can sign them up as well. No extra filling in of the form required

- We now have a calender format of the classes we teach, which should give a clearer overview

I have tested this version rigorously but some mistakes might still be in there somewhere. Please send me feedback if something doesn't work as intended.

Right now the sorting is kind of wonky. The movement & styling on monday appears first in Maastricht, when it's the last class and appears as the second class in Genk, when it's the first. The Advanced 1 class on Wednesday also appears first, when it's last. Make sure you check the class details to see the time, but the system will email you the correct day, time and place as well..

Also, we are now teaching an on2 class on Friday at 21:00!! I am glad a bunch of you are now interested in this.

Dag allemaal

Ik heb hard gewerkt aan deze nieuwe versie (7) van ons inschrijfsysteem en na een paar technische tegenslagen is deze nu online.

Op verzoek van velen heb ik de volgende verbeteringen kunnen doorvoeren:

- Je kunt je nu voor meerdere cursussen tegelijk inschrijven

- Als je het e-mailadres en telefoonnummer van je danspartner invoert, dan kunnen wij hem/haar ook inschrijven. Je hoeft het formulier niet opnieuw in te vullen

- We hebben nu een kalenderweergave van de lessen die we geven, wat een duidelijker overzicht moet geven

Ik heb deze versie grondig getest, maar er kunnen nog steeds fouten in zitten. Stuur me alsjeblieft feedback als er iets niet werkt zoals bedoeld.

Op dit moment is de sortering nog een beetje vreemd. De les 'Movement & Styling' op maandag staat als eerste in Maastricht, terwijl het de laatste les is, en als tweede in Genk, terwijl het de eerste les is. De les 'Advanced 1' op woensdag staat ook als eerste, terwijl het de laatste les is. Zorg ervoor dat je de details van de les bekijkt om de tijd te zien, maar het systeem zal je ook per e-mail de juiste dag, tijd en locatie toesturen.

We geven nu ook een on2 les op vrijdag om 21:00 uur! Ik ben blij dat zoveel van jullie hierin geïnteresseerd zijn.

Bekijk dus het rooster en vergeet niet je aan te melden.

New logo!

New phase, new logo

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Since the beginning of Just Jason dance company I have been thinking about our logo. Our original logo was something I quickly made to have something to put up as a logo. And although it was a quick fix, it did contain our base elements:

- something representing music

- the music note could be seen as two separate notes that form something else as a whole

- the circle representing community

We kept those elements and came up with something new that not only represents us, but also represents us as a dance school, two people dancing! And a tiny hat. :)

It feels like we are entering a new phase for Just Jason, so it feels only right to launch this new logo with this new phase.

I must admit that I had gotten quite attached to our old logo, but I really love this new representation of us.

So I'd like to proudly introduce

Dames & Heren,

Vanaf het begin van Just Jason dance company ben ik al aan een nieuw design voor ons logo aan het nadenken. Ons origineel logo was iets dat ik snel in elkaar had gezet om iets te hebben om op de website te kunnen zetten als logo. En alhoewel het een snel bedachte oplossing was, had het wel de belangrijkste elementen erin zitten.

- iets dat verwijst naar muziek

- de muzieknoot die gezien kan worden als twee aparte noten die samen een nieuw geheel vormen

- de cirkel die staat voor community

Wij hebben al deze elementen behouden en hebben het belangrijkste element toegevoegd: dansers! En een kleine pet. :)

Het voelt alsof wij een nieuwe fase ingaan met Just Jason en dus lijkt dit de juiste tijd om ons nieuw logo door te voeren. Eerlijk is eerlijk, ik was redelijk gehecht geraakt aan ons oud logo, maar ik ben al verkocht aan ons nieuw logo dat ons beter representeert.

Dus wil ik met gepaste trots presenteren,

Wij zijn er klaar voor!

Hallo peoples!

Wij hebben al een hele tijd geen update geplaatst, omdat er eigenlijk niet zoveel te melden was. Wij wachten net als iedereen rustig totdat dit allemaal voorbij is. Maar stilgezeten hebben wij zeker niet!

Just Jason's nieuwe inschrijf-systeem is los van wat kleine toevoegingen klaar voor gebruik. Het heeft heel veel tijd, moeite en veel uren naar het scherm staren gekost, maar het systeem is nu klaar voor gebruik. Doordat veel nu geautomatiseerd is houden wij meer tijd over om te kunnen dansen, lesgeven en choreograferen.

Een aantal van onze updates zijn:

Een betere scheiding van onze Engels- en Nederlands sprekende dansers
Een aparte nieuwsbrief voor beide talen
Aparte inschrijving voor beide talen
Een volledig geautomatiseerd inschrijfproces
Een gestroomlijnder kantoorproces voor onze administratie
Iedereen kan zich nu gemakkelijker inschrijven voor de volgende cursus

En dan lopen er op de achtergrond nog een hoop geautomatiseerde processen die ervoor moeten zorgen dat alles nog soepeler verloopt achter de schermen bij Just Jason.

In onze nieuwsbrief hadden wij al vermeld dat wij startklaar zijn voor een mogelijke heropening, maar wij willen dit uiteraard zo verantwoordelijk mogelijk doen. Mocht je deze updates ook willen ontvangen, meld je dan hier aan.

Wij zijn er klaar voor! Nu is het wachten nog op het startsignaal.

We are ready!

Hello peoples!

We haven't updated in a while, because there was nothing really to update. We've been sitting this out as best we can, as we are sure you have been too. But we haven't been twiddling our thumbs!

Just Jason's new backend system is more or less ready to go. It took a lot of work, learning, making mistakes and long hours, but this will make a lot of things automatic for Just Jason and free up more time for dancing, teaching and choreographing.

We now have:

A better separation of our Dutch & English speakers
Seperate newsletters for both languages
Separate signup for both languages
A fully automated signup process
An easier way for us to handle the administrative part of the danceschool
An easier way for all of you to sign up for the next set of classes

And on top of this we have automated a whole bunch of automated processes in the back-office so everything should run much smoother from now on.

As we mentioned in our newsletter, we're gearing up for a possible re-opening but we want to do so responsibly. If you would like to also receive these updates, be sure to sign up here.

We are always working to improve ourselves! This is the new website which should connect better to our back-office so we can get things done faster. This way we have more time to do what we love: dance, teach & grow together with all of you.
